LOGO / 01

The primary signature

The horizontal mark-and-logotype lockup is the default identifier across communication, digital interfaces and principal building identification.

LOCKED ARTWORK / BACKGROUND PREVIEW

A single piece of artwork

Place the exported lockup as one object. The three-tier mark, custom letterforms, their scale relationship and the gap between them are fixed. Scale uniformly from a corner; keep the aspect ratio locked.

One authoritative source

The user-approved Figma selection, node 528:38, governs the artwork. Earlier explorations are obsolete. No alternate stacked, vertical, condensed or text-only arrangement is introduced by this guide.

LOCKED FIGMA SOURCE ↗

Geometry approval does not imply approval of the newly proposed color treatments or production specifications. Dark-background previews show a proposed light treatment.

Recognize the parts
Use the whole

The mark and wordmark are distinct elements within one approved relationship. This diagram identifies them; it is not a construction recipe.

01 / ARCHITECTURAL MARK02 / CUSTOM LOGOTYPE

The mark

Three ascending horizontal forms give the signature its architectural cadence. Preserve the tier lengths, slopes, corners and negative spaces exactly.

The lettering

Solaris is custom artwork. Sheina and DM Sans support the identity; neither can recreate the logotype. Never type the brand name as a substitute logo.

The relationship

The source asset is 1222 × 138 units: approximately 8.855:1. These are export bounds, not dimensions for redrawing. Preserve all internal spacing.

Independent mark or logotype use

The supplied separate artworks remain source references. This application system defaults to the combined lockup. A standalone avatar, favicon or new arrangement needs its own approved application artwork; do not crop it out of the signature.

LOGO / 03

Space is part
of the signature

Set H equal to the full height of the approved lockup. Reserve at least 1H of uninterrupted space on every side, measured from the artwork bounds. This is a proposed application rule.

HHHH
Outer dashed line = exclusion zone · Inner rectangle = artwork bounds · Neither line is part of the logo.

Measure from the artwork

Do not measure from the edges of an exported image that contains padding. In the supplied application SVG, the viewBox is tightly bounded. Keep headlines, partner marks, trim, folds, seams and interface controls outside the exclusion zone.

Use more when space permits

1H is a floor, not a target for every layout. At principal entrances and on cover pages, allow approximately 2H or more. Never reduce the internal gap to make the logo fit.

For a lockup width WH = W × 138 ÷ 1222Example: W = 240 px → H ≈ 27.1 px → reserved area ≈ 294.2 × 81.3 px.
LOGO / 04

Small enough to belong
Large enough to read

These are proposed starting widths for the complete lockup, excluding clear space. They are not certified reproduction limits. Use the larger size whenever the substrate or viewing conditions demand it.

240 CSS px / preferred compact digital use
180 CSS px / provisional screen floor
Below 180 px / exception requires specific review

Screen specimens use actual CSS widths at 100% browser zoom. Device pixel density and browser scaling change physical appearance. Exporting at 2× does not make a smaller displayed logo more legible.

When the full signature does not fit

Change the layout, create more space or request an approved compact asset. Do not compress the lettering, remove letters or improvise a new symbol. The below-floor example above illustrates the review boundary, not a permitted small-size version.

LOGO / 05

A controlled set
of expressions

The original source colors remain the approved master. The two single-color treatments below are proposed applications, derived from the same vector paths. Background colors never become part of the artwork.

01 / ORIGINAL SOURCEMark #000000 · Logotype #111111
Use on pearl or white; preserve source values.
02 / PEARL REVERSE · PROPOSED#F0ECE5 on burgundy, ink or forest
Use a flat light fill, not a metallic effect.
03 / BURGUNDY · PROPOSED#3B0A19 on pearl or white
Single-color artwork for restrained accents.

Do not make the mark and lettering different brand colors, apply gradients inside the logo or introduce gold. A satin-silver material is a finish proposal, not a new screen colorway. Do not substitute a process black, CMYK mix, spot ink or foil reference without a production proof.

LOGO / 06

Contrast without
compromise

Choose a background that keeps every contour distinct. Check the entire signature, including the finest gaps; a readable mark alone is not enough.

USE / QUIET SOLID FIELDPearl on forest. Keep the field uninterrupted throughout the clear-space zone.
USE / QUIET PHOTOGRAPHIC AREAPlace over a consistent dark region. A broad image treatment may help; it must not become a halo around the logo.
AVOID / COMPETING DETAILFacade bands and changing tones interrupt the letters. Move the logo or change the composition.
AVOID / LOW CONTRASTBurgundy on forest loses the signature. Use the pearl artwork instead.

Do not add outlines, drop shadows, glows or a tight box as a rescue treatment. A dedicated panel is acceptable only when it is an intentional layout element with full clear space. Review both light and dark image areas when imagery changes in a carousel.

LOGO / 07

Anchor the composition
Leave room to breathe

Use a deliberate alignment to the page or architectural grid. Do not distribute the signature freely as a decorative motif.

The art
of presence.
RESIDENCE BOOK / COVER
COVER / UPPER LEFTAlign the artwork with the editorial column. Keep a generous interval before the headline.
INVITATION / FRONT
CEREMONIAL / CENTEREDCenter the complete asset within the usable field, not the lettering alone.
EDITORIAL / LOWER LEFTA quiet signature can close a composition. Keep it outside the text block and inside safe margins.

Respect the physical edge

Place once per composition

A primary face or view normally needs one signature. On a multi-page document, use it at meaningful entry or closing points; running text can identify Solaris without repeating the logo on every page.

LOGO / 08

A signature,

Descriptors, campaign lines and studio attribution are supporting information. They sit outside the logo and do not create a new lockup.

Maria Studio is the identity author, not part of the Solaris signature. Credit the studio in a separate masthead, colophon or footer. For a partner relationship, preserve each brand’s clear space and agree hierarchy before release; do not imply an endorsement.

What must
never change

The examples below keep the source paths intact while showing incorrect application. The prohibited geometry changes are described rather than issuing distorted logo files.

THE ART OF PRESENCE
01 / DO NOT CROWDCopy enters the exclusion zone. Move it outside 1H.
02 / DO NOT MAKE A PATTERNUse the supporting graphic language for texture.
03 / DO NOT TOUCH THE EDGEMaintain clear space and physical safety margins.

Never distort

No stretching, skewing, rotating or perspective-warping the master artwork.

Never reconstruct

No tracing, AI generation, retyping or replacing the custom letters with a font.

Never rearrange

No stacking, separating, changing the mark-to-type scale or adjusting internal spacing.

Never decorate

No strokes, shadows, gradients, bevels, textures inside the forms or enclosing badges.

Never crop

Keep all three tiers and the complete wordmark visible. Do not use partial letters as a device.

Never alter for manufacture

If a process cannot retain the details, enlarge the whole logo or choose another process. A modified master requires review.

LOGO / 10

Sharp at every
approved scale

Use SVG for web interfaces and responsive layouts. Preserve the viewBox and intrinsic ratio. The logo must load as artwork rather than live text.

Web & responsive use

  • Set width explicitly and height to auto; never force both into a conflicting ratio.
  • Keep the full signature on mobile by simplifying navigation around it.
  • Use a named colorway per background. Avoid unpredictable blend modes.
  • Prevent layout shifts by retaining the intrinsic aspect ratio.

Accessibility & motion

  • Use “Solaris” as the accessible name; a homepage link can be labeled “Solaris home.”
  • A decorative duplicate should have empty alt text.
  • Keep focus indicators outside the artwork and clearly visible.
  • Reveal the whole signature with a restrained fade, if needed. Do not animate tiers or letters independently; respect reduced-motion settings.
Raster delivery

When SVG is unsupported, export a transparent PNG from the vector at the required output scale. A 240 CSS px placement may use a 480 px-wide image at 2×. Preserve clear space in the layout; label any padded export so its visible artwork width is not confused with the canvas width. JPEG is unsuitable for a transparent logo.

The right file
A clean handoff

Use the named application assets, retain the untouched source and keep production derivatives traceable. A screenshot or image-generator output is never a logo master.

PRE-RELEASE CHECK / EVERY APPLICATION
  1. Correct master and intended colorway selected.
  2. Complete horizontal arrangement; ratio and all internal spacing unchanged.
  3. At least 1H clear space; trim, seams, controls and copy outside it.
  4. Legible at final displayed or physical size, including fine breaks and counters.
  5. Consistent contrast across the entire background and every image state.
  6. Descriptions and credits clearly separate from the signature.
  7. Vector export retained; raster derivatives labeled with size and background.
  8. For fabrication: supplier sample accepted and specification recorded.
