# Solaris / The Art of Presence
Brand identity by Maria Studio. Edition 01, 18 September 2026.

## Creative direction
One cohesive editorial system: an architectural presence on the northern coast and a more intimate world within. Burgundy is expressed through material and light; pearl and ink establish space and hierarchy. Forest and silver are restrained secondary notes. No gold is specified. Original campaign imagery interprets the supplied persona references through attitude and gesture, without reproducing their faces or layouts.

## Approved artwork and geometry

The original Figma export is retained as solaris-figma-source.svg. Its surrounding frame background is excluded from the transparent application asset; the locked group itself is retained. All ten path data strings and their relative positions are preserved. Application transforms use uniform scale and translation. Pearl and burgundy versions change only fill color and are proposed color applications. The approved original remains included. No generative model was used to create, repair, or redraw the logo.

Maria Studio artwork: the two client-supplied SVGs, Layer 2.svg and Story _ Identity _ Presence.svg. Supplied paths and orange studio accent are preserved. Studio orange is not a Solaris brand color.

## Architectural imagery
Seven project visualizations were supplied in the client's solaris-images folder. Web versions preserve aspect ratio and use ordinary size/encoding optimization; the originals remain unchanged in that folder. Browser crops are compositional views of those supplied assets. File mappings and original hashes are in image-provenance.json.

These supplied visualizations are not represented as documentary photographs or verified as-built conditions.

## Original generated concepts
Built-in ImageGen created the twilight campaign, blank stationery scene, blank resident objects, and blank architectural signage setting. The objects background was revised to remove an unrelated rocky coastal landscape. These depict imagined situations and materials, not the actual Solaris entrance, interiors, residents or manufactured products. The final logos were placed separately with SVG image elements at the original aspect ratio. Important text is typeset in HTML/CSS or editable SVG.

The website includes application previews captured from those deterministic compositions. They are raster mockups, not logo masters or fabrication artwork.

## Research and original interpretation
- Dior Haute Couture: https://www.dior.com/en_int/fashion/haute-couture — craft and invention as a method; interpreted through material detail.
- Aman Tokyo Residences: https://www.aman.com/hotels/aman-tokyo/residences — private sanctuary within a recognizable address; interpreted through public presence and intimate moments.
- Pentagram, The Mansion on Marylebone Lane: https://www.pentagram.com/work/the-mansion-on-marylebone-lane/story — identity connected to architectural/material context; interpreted through Solaris's own terrace rhythm and setting.

No assets from those brands are incorporated. Research is a focused reference study, not an exhaustive competitor or buyer-research report. Personas are explicitly creative hypotheses that need interviews and sales-team validation.

## Fonts
Sheina Regular is the client-supplied local display font. DM Sans Regular/Medium is the body family from Google Fonts, with its SIL Open Font License included. They support the identity and never replace the custom Solaris logotype. SVG text remains editable; install the named fonts when editing. Verify Sheina public web and distribution rights before deployment.

## Digital checks
All thirteen chapters are checked at 1440 px and 390 px viewport widths. Verification covers missing images, horizontal page overflow, English-only visible content, keyboard tab navigation, browser history, image lightbox, logo background controls, the live type specimen and digital preview. Download availability and SVG logo geometry are checked separately. The six-page PDF is rendered and visually inspected. Results are in the website source QA records. This is a local static identity website; no sales enquiry service or CRM integration is claimed.

## Proposed, not production-tested
Colors are HEX/sRGB screen references. Physical matching, CMYK/Pantone equivalence, paper stocks, metal finish, debossing, embroidery, cutting, light output, fixing details and corrosion performance remain untested. Logo minimum widths and clear space are proposed starting points.

Editable SVG application dimensions are proposed trim layouts. They do not include supplier-specific bleed, imposition, trapping or dielines. Letterhead copy is a concept introduction; invitation event details and business-card contact data are deliberately not invented. The key-card layout does not specify an access-control technology. Confirm every physical artwork with the production supplier and project team.

The phrase “landmark” expresses the desired positioning; no height record, ranking, award, sales availability, amenity or service promise is asserted without project verification.

## Logo chapter / version 1.1
Expanded to twelve sections: master, anatomy, clear space, sizing, colorways, backgrounds, placement, hierarchy, misuse, digital, production and handoff. Clear space H is defined as the full 138-unit artwork height; the 1222-unit width is unchanged. The 180 CSS px and 40 mm reproduction thresholds are proposals, not validated production minima. The self-contained HTML chapter is the expanded logo reference; the six-page identity PDF remains a concise overview.

Typography update: Sheina Regular + DM Sans selected by the client. Use upright Sheina only; do not synthesize italics. Persian typography is reserved for a later selection. This local kit contains the supplied Sheina font for the client workflow; check its license before public distribution.

Palette refinement: Burgundy #3B0A19 and Silver #7C807E replace the earlier digital values. Physical color matches remain subject to proofing.
